Zac Moynihan is a Brisbane/Meanjin-based landscape painter whose work is shaped by sustained observation of the Australian environment. Working predominantly in oil and often en plein air, he responds to changing weather, luminous conditions, and the spatial depth of the landscape.
Moynihan won the Doyle’s Landscape Award in 2022 and has been a finalist in the Glover Prize (2025) & Lethbridge Landscape Prize (2023-2025). His paintings reflect an ongoing commitment to landscape as both a sensory experience and a continuing artistic lineage.
