Field Studies: Bunya Mountains is a small group of plein air oil paintings made on site in the Bunya Mountains, Queensland. Painted in the open air through shifting weather and passing light, these works hold deep views across the range and the dense abundance of the bush. They form part of my ongoing landscape practice, exploring atmosphere, place, and the quiet restorative stillness found within the Australian landscape.
